Tuesday, July 21, 2009 - For Immediate Release

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. – (PR Newswire) – Coates International, Ltd. (OTCBB: COTE) – Coates International, Ltd.  (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that a delegation of Chinese professors and engineers from Shanghai, China have arranged to visit the Coates International, Ltd. Headquarters in Wall Twp., NJ USA on August 3rd where they will review a number of Coates CSRV engines and electric power generators operating and running under full load. Utilizing natural gas, CNG, propane, and a combination of CNG and diesel combined including gasoline engines operating in vehicles.

Gregory Coates our Senior Vice President of Technology visited China with our exclusive liaison agent Mr. James Pang a couple of months ago and opened negotiations with Chinese entities to set up manufacturing and mass production in that country for all applications of the Coates CSRV engines. Mr. James Pang is still in China and will stay there until the deal is consummated.

Company President CEO George J. Coates stated that the company has more than $1,300,000,000 in firm orders, for its CSRV industrial electric power natural gas generators, for use in the oil and gas industry and other industrial applications. These orders are from USA, Canada and all over the world. The company management is working diligently to establish a location to set up manufacturing and production operations in the USA, and they are presently in talks with a number of different states for this purpose.

The most costly part of this project is the start-up funding, which could cost up to $300,000,000. The company would employ between 2,000 to 12,000 trained workers. These new permanent good quality jobs created over the next 4 years will boost the economy in the state that our company decides to set up production in and help the USA economy with the exportation of our products.

The CSRV engines and products will lower the USA’s dependency on imported foreign oil while lowering the production of harmful emissions and help to reduce the effect of global warming.

All our engines are fully guaranteed by a warranty on all of the Coates products.
