ATK A PREMIER AMERICAN DEFENSE CONTRACTOR’S GROUP VISITS COATES INTERNATIONAL, LTD. HEADQUARTERS IN WALL TWP., NJ.

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. – (PR Newswire) – Coates International, Ltd. (OTCBB: COTE) – Coates International, Ltd.  (the “Company”) on June 8th a group of engineers from ATK tactical propulsion and controls an aerospace, defense company visited the company’s headquarters. Leading the group was

  • Jason S Tyll, Phd., Deputy Director of advanced programs.
  • Dan Guinan, Senior Design Engineer.
  • Chris Gettinger, Manager GASL propulsion and performance.
  • Brian Magaha, Analytical Engineer ATK GASL.
  • Boifacio Calayag, senior program manager.
  • Stephen A Beckel, Director advanced systems, business development.

The Coates CSRV engines were demonstrated for our visitors

  • A 6-cylinder gasoline engine running in a 380 SE Mercedes Saloon car. The engine was running for awhile to warm up and then brought up to 10,000 RPM.
  • A CSRV 1600cc four cylinder 35K generator was demonstrated running on propane.
  • A CSRV industrial natural gas (CNG) electric power generator was demonstrated putting out power under full load at maximum speed and with one flick of a switch the machine added a minute amount of diesel sequentially injected at pre-programmed intervals. This injection system is computer controlled and infinitely programmable and was invented and designed by Gregory G. Coates.
  • Final demonstration CSRV engine was of a performance gasoline V8 351 CSRV Retrofit as it is a long stroke unit max was RPM 11,000.

 

After all demonstrations of the CSRV engines and technology were complete there was a three hour long question and answer period where all technical information questions were answered satisfactorily. Mr. Tyll has since been in touch with the company on June 18th and discussions are continuing.

Company President and CEO, George J. Coates stated that ATK is one of principle US Defense Contractor with vast manufacturing capabilities in the USA and possible joint ventures were discussed. Company management expressed their wishes of having all applications of CSRV engine and generators manufactured in the USA. When leaving the engineers expressed their opinion of the CSRV engine technology as “awesome”
